MILWAUKEE – Masks will be required inside the Fiserv Forum for all events from Friday December 31st. Milwaukee Bucks PR was confirmed for FOX6 News on Wednesday.
Masks will be compulsory, except for eating or drinking, for the duration of the events. Masks will be available at the entrance and throughout the building.
“We hope fans will embrace it. We want to continue to provide live entertainment,” said Dennis Williams, Managing Director of the Fiserv Forum.

Williams said the decision came after speaking to the Milwaukee Health Department and reviewing COVID-19 positivity rates. He said creating a safe environment for guests was essential with a number of upcoming events, including the Harlem Globetrotters on New Years Eve and a Marquette men’s basketball game and the Milwaukee’s doubles program. As to how long the requirement will remain in place, Williams described the situation as “fluid” – referring to a need for positivity and community spread of COVID-19 to decrease.

The NBA and NCAA have their own COVID-19 health and safety practices that relate to gaming. The Fiserv Forum policy is applied only to guests and other persons who are not subject to the rules of the league.
