Businesswoman and apprentice star Karren Brady has started a series of business forum events in Denbighshire.
West Ham United Vice President and Small Business Ambassador came to the OpTIC Center on Saint-Asaph Glyndwr University campus, Friday.
It has launched a new business forum for Dr James Davies, Denbighshire adviser and Conservative parliamentary candidate in the Clwyd Valley.
Dr Davies said: “I want to engage more with business as a vital part of the local economy. That’s why I organize Business Forum meetings where we can invite relevant speakers to a roundtable with a group of businesses.
“This first visit from a leading entrepreneur raises the profile of our region and gives local entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn from a revolutionary businesswoman.
“The Forum is an opportunity to discuss specific issues with industry leaders. Any business residing in the Clwyd Valley and any established business group are welcome to contact me to participate in a Forum roundtable. have written to many businesses in the area and will expand this reach further in the coming weeks.
“My goal at each Forum event is to highlight an important economic component of the Clwyd Valley. As the Prime Minister’s Ambassador for Small Business, Karren Brady is able to both understand the issues small businesses face and convey them to the UK government. “
